Pilar ADÓN**

Pilar Adón (Madrid, 1971) is the author of the novel Las hijas de Sara (Sara’s Daughters, Alianza, 2003), which was named one of that year’s ten best, alongside authors like Rodrigo Fresán and A.S. Byatt. Her book of short stories Viajes inocentes (Innocent Journeys, Páginas de Espuma, 2005) won her the Ojo Crítico de Narrativa award from Spanish National Radio. In 2010, she published an anthology of stories entitled El mes más cruel (The Cruelest Month, Impedimenta), for which she was named a Fnac New Talent, and she was shortlisted for the Crítica, Setenil and Tigre Juan awards.

Her latest published work is the novel Las efímeras (The Ephemeral,Galaxia Gutenberg, 2015).
