Entiéndame

You Know What I Mean | Anagrama, 1995

The back seat of a taxi, an old guest house in the North of Spain, a coastal town where no secret remains undiscovered for long, the principal room of a library, a cocktail bar in a big city, the sometimes complicated thin line between memory and desire, and a nameless corner of an African island are some of the locations travelled through by the characters of these seven tales.

An accurate prose and detailed plot that hice an unexpected turn of fate only revealed at the very end; a slowly paced discourse that blurs the limits between sanity and madness and a set of personalities that come unexpectedly into play –confused peronalities who steal from each other or get mixed up; facts that prove that not everything is down to chance, but that it can certainly be modified, ignored or questioned.
