The meeting with Alfi and the reunion with Raquel, the girl who was his girlfriend three years earlier, will mark the nine months in Pablo’s life which this novel spans, and in reality, the rest of it too. Nine months which become a dramatic and at times humorous journey through love, madness, learning, romanticism, failure and perhaps even treason.

But above all it’s the story of a friendship. An ambiguous and piercing friendship, like all true stories, possibly with no beginning nor end, just like this novel, which, not for the sake of a whim, has had its first and last pages torn out.
