Pepa Aguar (València, 1964) grew up in Benetússer until she left for Barcelona at the age of eighteen. She studied Information Sciences, Political Sciences and holds a doctorate in Political Science. She is a professor of Communication Skills and coordinator of a master’s degree at the UAB. She has combined her passion for literature with journalistic and communication consultancy collaborations for public and private entities; among others, the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and the Secretariat for Immigration of Catalonia.
With her first novel, El que em queda de tu (Edicions 62, 2021) received the Joanot Martorell Prize. Her second novel is Un grapat de silencis (Edicions 62, 2025), a moving, sensual story of love and loss.
