Auge seeks to explain a political phenomenon that defines our time: radicalization.
Many observers point to a shift to the right among young men (and to the left among women), often attributing it to the impact of feminism.
This book, however, offers a critical analysis of the phenomenon, bringing in the role of the internet, the politicization of emotions, the commodification of identities, the cancellation of the future, precarity, and economic crises to shed light on the violent political turns of the present.
