Año 2015 después de Jesucristo. Todo el Universo gastronómico está ocupado por cocineros filósofos…

¿Todo? ¡No! Un restaurante poblado por irreductibles cocineros vascos resiste todavía y siempre al invasor… Es el de Martín Berasategui en Lasarte (Guipúzcoa), y es mucho más que un restaurante con tres estrellas Michelin. Es un lugar donde, además de producirse el milagro de la alta cocina, se esconde la guarida del gran David de Jorge y el plató de su programa Robin Food.

Martín y David, protagonizan este cómic donde evolucionan sus biografías, entremezclándose con la Historia de la gastronomía, de la que forman parte. Es la historia de una cocina sin fronteras pero con orígenes, de una forma de cocinar que es el resultado de la búsqueda de la felicidad cotidiana y de una forma disfrutona de entender y vivir la vida.

One small restaurant of indomitable chefs still holds out against the invaders … It’s the one run by Martín Berasategui in Lasarte (Guipúzcoa), and it’s way more than just a Michelin three-starred eatery. Home not only to the miracle of haute cuisine, it is also the lair of the great David de Jorge and the stage for Robin Food, his TV cookery show.
Martín and David star in this graphic novel in which they look back on the History of Gastronomy and tell their own life stories. They tell the tale of a cuisine unbound by nationality but with solid roots, of an approach to cooking that springs from the search for happiness and living life with relish.
