Las niñas prodigio is a novel that is only partially autobiographical, shaken by the stigma of a unhealthy and impossible amour fou. It is also a comedy in several acts and a story with hints of Gothic horror, populated by characters such as Nadia Comăneci, Drew Barrymore, Punky Brewster, and Bertín Osborne. But above all, it is a contemporary tale about identity, beginning in an imperfect and suffocating present, before returning to all the ages of a woman.
