Belén Barenys (Barcelona, 1999) studied Philosophy and trained as an actress at Eòlia, one of the best theatre schools in Barcelona.
She was part of the group of creators, ‘Los Malnacidos IX’, who formed the Sala Beckett. She participated as an actress and musician in the theatre works El Chinabum, Karaoke, M. Fartlek, and Derecho en Pataleta. On the audio-visual scene, she worked on the series El muerto vivo and co-wrote and starred in the Filmin series Autodefensa. Autodefensa was nominated for the Feroz Awards and won the Seriesmania festival. As a singer, Belén forms part of Rigoberta Bandini’s choir, and she also has her own musical project, MEMÉ.
