Luis Mario (Cantabria, 1992) has published four novels: Cadencia de estornino (Salto de Página, 2021), Bello trozo redondo de mar (Sr. Scott, 2023), and Calabobos (Reservoir Books, 2025).
He worked for years as an advertising creative for brands like Nike, Audi, and UNICEF, but left it all behind to travel the world and write what would become his first novel.
He currently teaches literary workshops on magical realism and works as a freelance advertising creative from a small village in Catalonia, where he also runs and shares a writing workshop with his neighbors.
