La tiranía de las moscas

The Tyranny of Flies | Barrett, 2021

Casandra, Caleb and Calia are three siblings, one more unusual than the other. Cassandra, the eldest, feels a sexual attraction to objects; Caleb, the middle one, causes death to any animal that comes near him; finally, Calia, the youngest, is always silent and has a special talent for hyper-realistic animal drawing.

The father, a stuttering soldier, loses the favor of the Abuelo Bigotes, the Country Leader, and, out of frustration, begins to make life impossible for his children,
especially Casandra, who has fallen in love with a bridge, and who is prevented by her father from visiting it to express her most intimate desires. Thus, the three siblings must join forces to put an end to the dictatorship imposed by their father, in the presence of a passive mother obsessed with psychoanalysis and who hates her children.
