Plato’s Athens. The richest period of Greek culture is about to end.
With the help of Aristophanes and his Sophist friends, Aspasia, Pericles’ wife, is fighting for the right of women to take part in the newly born democracy. When Socrates is given poison hemlock to drink, Aspasia asks a Sophist to write his epitaph, thus involving him in the investigation of one of the most obscure trials in history. Nevertheless, the unexpected discovery of the corpse of Socrates’ main prosecutor in a brothel will give a new twist to the investigation. A very original thriller about an essential period in History.
