A masterful, terrifying take on the existencialist novel, the latest work by Sebastià Alzamora is about the rage our society feels.
A middle-aged man lives with his dog Taylor on an unnamed Mediterranean island, in the townhouse area of the tourist zone of Bellavista. One day, Taylor dies after being poisoned and the man has no idea who could have killed her or why. Neither does he understand another absurd death, that of a person he has often met when walking his dog, victim of an incident in the street near a tattoo bar run by a Serbian couple. As the man tries to digest these facts, he is faced by his relationship with the world around him, an impersonal environment, degraded by corruption and a general free-for-all where, however, he is surprised by flashes of beauty and true friendship.
