In this anthology, where the author himself has decided to bring together his favourite stories, and has done so aware that this is a literary game – the volume itself is seen as another invented memory – and not ignoring the fact that nobody can compile an anthology that is much more than a museum of sympathies and differences, and that really the only editor of an admirable anthology is the passing of time, the reader will find charm in pages that are carefully chosen and very representative of the narrative art of someone who, having stood out in recent years for his short stories as a “true master of the genre” (J.
