Aleksandra LUN


Aleksandra Lun (Gliwice, 1979) left Poland at 19, financed her studies in languages and literature in Spain by working at a casino, and now lives in Belgium, where she works as a translator. She translates from English, French, Spanish, Italian, Catalan, and Romanian into Polish, her mother tongue. Her first novel, Los Palimpsestos (Minúscula, 2015), written in Spanish, was translated into English, French and Dutch, and received the prestigious PEN/Heim grant from PEN America. Her second novel, Química para mosquitos (Galaxia Gutenberg, 2024), has been awarded the 54th City of Barbastro International Novel Prize.
